Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you need to know about starting your family's musical journey.
Q. Do we need an acoustic piano at home right away?
A weighted digital keyboard with 88 keys is fine for the first term. We help you choose when to move to an acoustic piano as touch sensitivity develops.
Q. Why do parents attend lessons in the Suzuki approach?
In early years, a parent acts as the home practice partner. You learn alongside your child to give gentle, confident reminders at home and share musical joy together.
Q. What happens if we miss a scheduled lesson?
We provide two makeup lesson credits per term when given at least 24 hours notice, easily rescheduled via our student portal.
Q. What happens during a trial lesson?
You and your child meet a teacher, sit at our grand piano, try simple listening games, and discuss goals with no pressure.
Not sure which package fits your child?
Book a 30-minute trial class and our director will recommend the best path.
